Microsoft and its' steadfast refusal to embrace standards, and instead opting for proprietary code in their lame attempt to continue the browsers wars (that they lost a long time ago) is the biggest issue IMO. What remains of the browser wars has been won, hands-down by FF and to a lesser extent, Opera(though it's arguable the better browser in some respects). Surrender, Microsoft! That, or play nice.
